"Flava VM" Performance Share

At LY Corporation we are developing “Flava” a unified private cloud platform that will replace Verda (built and operated by former LINE) and YNW (built and operated by former Yahoo Japan Corporation).
This session will share performance insights on Flava’s two core components: Server (VM) and VPC.

First half: Server (VM)
– Detailed micro-benchmark results, compared with the existing Verda and YNW environments
– Hypervisor-level tunings carried out in Flava
– Concrete best practices for services that will migrate to Flava

Second half: VPC
– Key architectural elements and how each affects performance
– Challenging performance topics
– Concrete best practices for services that will migrate to Flava
