This session introduces an engineering case study aimed at improving the quality of LINE Call. In mobile network environments, we observed a recurring pattern where video playback quality metrics of LINE Call declined progressively from the beginning to the end of each month. I will share our network congestion control techniques implemented to address this issue and the resulting improvements. I hope this session will be of some help to those interested in real-time communication services like LINE Call and related technologies.
