Tech-Verse Terms and Conditions

1.Participation Process

Participants, etc. shall comply with the provisions set forth in the following items when participating in Tech-Verse online:

• (1)Participants, etc. shall, at one’s own responsibility and risk, prepare the necessary equipment (computer, microphone, etc.), software, communication line, and other viewing environment for viewing Tech-Verse; and
• (2)Participants, etc. shall take appropriate security measures to prevent computer virus infection, unauthorized access, and information leaks, etc., in accordance with one’s own viewing environment.

LY Corporation shall bear no liability whatsoever for any damages, communication charges, or other expenses arising from the viewing environment of the Participants, etc.

2. Details of Tech-Verse

LY Corporation shall separately communicate the details of Tech-Verse (the venue and the schedule for the day).

３.Photography, Video Recording, etc.

LY Corporation may take photographs, videos, etc. at Tech-Verse, and Participants, etc. may appear in such photographs and videos. Unless Participants, etc. explicitly declare at the time of participation, in accordance with the method separately prescribed by LY Corporation, that they do not consent to the use of such photographs and videos, Participants, etc. shall be deemed to have consented to the use of the photographs and videos taken by LY Corporation for the purposes set forth in the following items:

• (1)Internal use within LY Corporation and its group companies (hereinafter referred to as “LY Corporation, etc.”), including use in reports related to Tech-Verse;
• (2)Publication on blogs, YouTube, and other media operated by LY Corporation, etc.; and
• (3)Coverage by external media.

４.Responsibilities of the Participants, etc.

Participants, etc. shall participate in Tech-Verse at their own responsibility and risk, and shall be responsible for any and all actions taken and the results thereof at Tech-Verse. If LY Corporation suffers any damages (including attorney fees) directly or indirectly due to the participation of the Participants, etc. in Tech-Verse, the Participants, etc. must immediately compensate LY Corporation in accordance with its claims.

5.Revocation of Participation Eligibility

If Participants, etc. fall under any of the following items, LY Corporation may refuse their participation in Tech-Verse, suspend their participation, or take any other measures that LY Corporation deems appropriate:

• (1)If they engage in, or are likely to engage in, conduct that causes inconvenience to LY Corporation or other Participants, etc., or that interferes with the smooth operation of Tech-Verse;
• (2)If they engage in, or are likely to engage in, conduct that damages the reputation or credibility of LY Corporation or other Participants, etc.;
• (3)If they violate the Terms and Conditions or any other rules separately established by LY Corporation regarding Tech-Verse; or
• (4)If LY Corporation otherwise determines that their participation is inappropriate.

6.Disclaimer

LY Corporation shall not be liable for any damages incurred by the Participant, etc. arising out of Tech-Verse. LY Corporation shall have no involvement whatsoever in any disputes arising in connection with Tech-Verse between Participants, etc. or between Participants, etc. and third parties, and Participants, etc. shall settle such disputes at their own responsibility and expense.

7.Discontinuation of Tech-Verse, etc.

LY Corporation shall be entitled to suspend, cancel or change the operation of Tech-Verse without prior notice to the Participants, etc. due to unavoidable reasons in relation to the operation of Tech-Verse. In such case, LY Corporation shall not be responsible for any and all expenses including, but not limited to, preparation costs for Tech-Verse incurred by the Participants, etc.

8.Confidentiality

Non-public information may be disclosed during Tech-Verse by other Participants, etc. Participants, etc. shall strictly maintain the confidentiality of any non-public information of other Participants, etc. which they may learn through their participation in Tech-Verse, and shall not disclose, provide, or leak such information to any third party without prior written or email consent from LY Corporation.

9.Protection of Personal Information

LY Corporation shall appropriately handle personal information related to Participants, etc. in accordance with the LY Corporation Privacy Policy.

10.Representations and Warranties

Participants, etc. shall guarantee to LY Corporation that their officers, important employees, major shareholders or business partners, etc. of themselves or their affiliated companies are not anti-social forces (an organized crime group, a member of an organized crime group, a quasi-member of an organized crime group, a related company or association of an organized crime group, a corporate racketeer (sokaiya), an extortionist advocating social movement, an extortionist advocating political activities, a special intelligence organized crime group, and equivalents thereto). LY Corporation shall also guarantee this to Participants, etc.

11.Dispute Resolution

• (1)Matters not stipulated in the Terms and Conditions or doubts arising in relation to the Terms and Conditions shall be resolved through consultation in good faith.
• (2)The validity, performance and interpretation of the Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Japan, and any lawsuits relating to the Terms and Conditions shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court in the first instance.

12.Language

The English version and the Korean version are translations of the Japanese version and are for reference purposes only. In case of any discrepancy between the Japanese version and the English version or the Korean version, the Japanese version shall prevail.
