Joined Neowiz Games Corporation in 2002, engaging in game development. Later, in 2005, moved to 1noon, a search service. In 2007, joined NHN Japan and was involved in the development of search engines and search services. After transferring to "Naver Japan," joined LINE in 2013. From 2014, served as LINE CTO, and later held dual roles as Group CTO of Z Holdings and Global CTO of LINE. With the merger of LINE Corporation and Yahoo Japan Corporation in October 2023, assumed the current position.

Joined Yahoo Japan Corporation as a new graduate in 2006, engaged in the development of PIM and social services as well as platforms. Seconded to Kakao Japan in 2012 to develop Japan‑specific features for KakaoTalk. Returned to Yahoo Japan in 2014 to launch data utilization systems and oversee the entire data platform. Currently oversees the company‑wide AI platform, driving LY Corporation’s overall AI strategy.
